I am an Educational Psychologist, dog mum, lover of classic musicals, and someone who truly believes in the power of compassionate connection. I became a psychologist because I care deeply about people, especially those who feel like they don’t quite fit the mould.

My practice is rooted in curiosity, gentleness, and the belief that every part of us deserves to be seen and heard. I work with teens, adults, and families, offering therapy, psychoeducational assessments, and parenting support that honours each person’s unique story, pace, and way of being. I’m especially passionate about creating inclusive, nurturing environments where everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) can feel seen, supported, and able to thrive.

Before becoming a psychologist, I took the scenic route through life, with meaningful stops in Cape Town, Germany, and South Korea. Over the past 16 years, I’ve worked in diverse educational settings across three continents, which has given me a deep appreciation for cultural context, different learning systems, and the many beautiful ways people show up in the world. My professional background is paired with academic grounding: I hold dual Honours degrees in Learner Support and Educational Psychology, a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, a PGCE, and a BA in Communication and Psychology. I was trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) in Portugal, by the IFS-Institute. (More information on IFS here)

Outside the therapy room, I’m usually adventuring with my husband, cuddling my quirky rescue pups (a Scottie and a Scottie-Daxie cross), or singing along, loudly, to 80s hits. I find joy in Christmas movies, crime series, strong coffee, and the ocean. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just curious about what therapy could look like for you, I’d love to walk alongside you on your journey.

ALL parts are welcome.
